From Early Childhood Education to Elementary Education, we identify education-related gaps and opportunities in each segment and develop context-based solutions. We collaborate with children, schools, families, and communities through direct programs and government partnerships.

Our mission at Koodugai Foundation is to identify, support, and reintegrate school dropouts and underserved children into the education system by providing them with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive. We work to eliminate barriers to education—social, economic, and cultural—by fostering inclusive learning environments, nurturing individual talents, and building strong community support systems that ensure every child has a fair chance to succeed.
Established in 2019 and registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act (UNDER SECTION 8 OF THE COMPANIES ACT, 2013), Koodugai Foundation is committed to transforming grassroots education with transparency and accountability. Since then, we have steadily grown our impact and reach.
Headquartered in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, our location allows close engagement with local schools and communities. This regional presence helps us understand the specific needs and challenges children face. Our office also functions as a hub for training, planning, and resource mobilization.
We collaborate with schools, communities, and volunteers to run engaging, child-centric education programmes tailored to each child’s needs.
Priya joined our program struggling to read basic sentences. With regular support from our D.E.A.R. initiative and reading buddies, she now confidently reads books on her own and helps her younger brother read too.
Rahul was always curious about how things work. After attending our Little Scientist Camp, he started building simple models at home. Today, he dreams of becoming a space scientist and speaks proudly about his inventions.
Keerthi was shy and rarely spoke in class. Through our Communicative English sessions and life skill workshops, she gained the confidence to participate in class debates and now leads her school’s morning assembly.
Aarav used to skip classes and had little interest in learning. With help from our volunteers, he started attending our fun-based educational camps. Now, he eagerly comes to every session and proudly shows his homework.
Sahana grew up in a village with limited educational resources. After being part of our library and mentorship programs, she improved academically and now mentors younger kids in her area — inspiring them to dream big.
